Officers investigate fatal Moncks Corner traffic accident

MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) - Moncks Corner Police are investigating an accident that left one dead Sunday afternoon.
The accident occurred at the at the intersection on Cypress Garden Road and Hwy 52, according to Moncks Corner Chief Ollic.
The call came in at 4:30 p.m., Ollic said.
A Toyota was struck when it turned left at the intersection and was struck by an oncoming truck, Ollic said.
The passenger in the toyota was killed, Ollic said. The drivers of the truck and vehicle were transported to the hospital as a result of the crash.
The name of the victim has not been released by the coroner’s office at this time.
