Deputies: One hospitalized after auto-pedestrian crash on James Island

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Deputies worked an auto-pedestrian accident on James Island which closed a portion of Maybank Highway Tuesday night

Officials with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office say the incident happened at Maybank Highway near Wappoo Drive.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
