CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A cold front is due to arrive in the Lowcountry this evening and will bring the chance of showers before drier weather moves in for the middle of the work week. High temperatures ahead of the front will be well into the 70s today. The record high today is 79°. The showers arrive this evening with the cold front but should be long gone by the time we wake up tomorrow morning. Friday is the kickoff to the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition and right now it looks fairly dry. The weekend forecast is a bit of a question mark with scattered showers possible on Saturday and Sunday. Highs this weekend should be in the 60s to near 70 degrees.
