Christopher Harmon has won a special election in Goose Creek to fill a vacant city council seat. Harmon got just over 57 percent of the vote with nearly 92 percent of precincts reporting.

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Christopher Harmon has won a special election in Goose Creek to fill a vacant city council seat.

Harmon got just over 57 percent of the vote with nearly 92 percent of precincts reporting.

The Tuesday election was to fill the city council seat left open by Brandon Cox who left to serve on Berkeley County Council.

City officials say they will have official results on Thursday.
