CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The South Carolina Office of Probation and Parole has captured one of its eight most wanted fugitives.
Xavier Mills was put on the top eight list last November and was being sought for violating his parole for first degree assault and battery as well as strong armed robbery.
Mills was taken into custody Thursday morning at approximately 6:30 a.m., according to department agent Christian Aulbach. The US Marshall’s Service, the North Charleston Police gang unit and the Intelligence Led Policing Unit helped with the arrest.
He is facing up to 6 years in prison as of November. The department previously identified him by a tattoo on his on the top of his right wrist that reads “XAE”.
