GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Lowcountry authorities are searching for a missing, runaway 16-year-old girl in Georgetown County.

Officials with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office say they are looking for Brittany Elizabeth Blazi.

A report states her father said he last saw her at home in Murrells Inlet at 11 p.m. on April 6. When he woke, she was gone.

“He said she was wearing a red top and blue jeans when he last saw her,” GCSO officials said."He did not know if she left on foot or by vehicle."

Investigators describe Blazi as having brown eyes and hair, 5′4," and weighing 160 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at (843) 546-5102.
