USC Police seek suspect wanted for attempting to grab women while in restroom stalls

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A man is wanted by the University of South Carolina Police after reports of attempts to fondle women in restrooms.

Authorities said the incident happened in the Jones Physical Science Building and the Hamilton College Building. The man reportedly reached underneath the stall dividers trying to grab women’s buttocks and thighs while they were in adjoining stalls.

Witnesses told officers that the suspect was a black man who stands about six feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds. They said he was wearing a long-sleeved gray sweatshirt, dark pants, Adidas tennis shoes, and carried a dark-colored backpack.
