Coroner identifies man killed in North Charleston shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities have identified a 19-year-old man who was killed in a shooting in North Charleston Tuesday night.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office says Henry Trey Norris of North Charleston died from a gunshot wound.

Just before 11 p.m., police officers arrived in the 5000 block of Garrett Avenue for calls about a man who was shot.

Officers found the victim laying next to a house, according to police department spokesman Spencer Pryor.

The man was pronounced dead on scene.

Police are continuing the investigation.
