Coroner identifies man shot outside of N. Charleston convenience store
The Charleston County Coroner’s office has identified the man shot in a shooting outside of a North Charleston convenience store.

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -The Charleston County Coroner’s office has identified the man shot in a shooting outside of a North Charleston convenience store.

Aterrio Monroe, 27 years old from Awendaw died on May 12th as a result of a gunshot wound.

North Charleston police say shortly before 11 p.m. on Sunday officers responded to the Max Quick Stop on McMillan Avenue for a shooting.

When officers got on scene, they found a man lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.

Witnesses told investigators that there were several people who were fighting outside when someone started shooting.
