BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Berkeley County deputies are looking for a suspect who has multiple felony warrants.
Kendall Austin Eagerton, 20, has two active warrants including one from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and one from the St. Stephen’s Police Department.
The Berkeley County warrant steams from an incident on May 8 when deputies responded to Adrian Lane in Moncks Corner, according to sheriff’s office spokeswoman Carli Drayton.
Deputies say they met with the victim who said he caught Eagerton with a hunting bag that belonged to him.
The victim then confronted Eagerton and then Eagerton swung an axe at the man and ran away, Drayton said.
Eagerton has been arrested four times since 2016 on charges of burglary, shoplifting, trespassing and possession of meth, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
Eagerton is known to frequent the Alvin Community in Berkeley County and should be considered dangerous.
Deputies are warning the public not to confront him and instead call 911 and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office if seen.
