CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Woodland wide receiver Lavel Davis has verbally commited to play at Virginia he announced on his Twitter account on Saturday night.
Davis, who’s heading into his senior year with the Wolverines is one of the best receiving prospects in the state at 6′6 and 215 pounds.
As a junior he caught 70 passes for just over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns.
""I chose Virginia because I love what they’re doing up there and they have a family relationship up there and was just really genuine and they wanted me" Davis said in a message to Live 5 Sports.
Davis said he was also considering Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Central Florida
