Deputies investigating suspicious death in Colleton County

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Authorities say they are investigating a suspicious death in Colleton County Monday afternoon.

Officials with the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office say the investigation is near the 11,000 block of Low Country Highway in Ruffin.

Deputies are advising residents to avoid the area.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has been called to further investigate the incident.

“We will update everyone as soon as information becomes available,” CCSO officials said.
