Man charged in West Ashley attempted bank robbery Tuesday

WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCSC) - A man has been charged following a bank robbery in West Ashley on Tuesday afternoon.

Kenneth Broadney, 34, is charged with one count of entering a bank with intent to steal.

Officers arrived at the Bank of America at 2275 Ashley Crossing Drive around 3:50 p.m. when they set up a perimeter just minutes after a call for a robbery in progress.

According to the incident report, Broadney was found still inside the bank.

No one was injured in the incident.
