JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) - A James Island church lost part of its roof to the high wind from Hurricane Dorian on Thursday morning.

The Holy City Church is located in the area of Dills Bluff Road and Fort Johnson Road.

Photos show the back portion of the roof exposed to the elements.

According to the church’s website, it was just founded in 2017 and was birthed out of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
