Charleston Co. Council votes down plan for digital billboard in W. Ashley

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Charleston County council has voted down plans to build a digital billboard in West Ashley.
Council members decided to not give final approval to build the structure along Bees Ferry Road.
Adams Outdoor Advertising hoped to put the sign next to the county landfill.
The decision comes after push back from people who live nearby.
