SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) - Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a man at gunpoint in Summerville Wednesday morning at a storage facility.

Officers responded to the Life Storage in the 400 block of Old Trolley Road where the victim, an employee, told them he was robbed at gunpoint at the counter around 10:45 a.m.

The men took approximately $500, the report stated. The men then took the keys to the victim’s Ford Mustang and took a bookbag out of the trunk, then went back and assaulted the victim a second time, according to the report.

When officers asked what was in the bookbag, the victim didn’t answer.

He also couldn’t say what the account names were on two iPhones which were also taken by the suspects, according to the incident report. The victim told officers that one phone was his work phone, but the Life Storage manager stated in the report that employees aren’t given work phones.

The victim was then taken to Summerville Medical Center.
