LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) - A student at Sandhills Middle School is facing charges in connection with a threat made against another student.

The incident took place inside a classroom on January 24th.

Deputies say the student threatened to stab and choke another student. The student was later interviewed by officials at the school.

The identity of the student is being withheld because he is under the age of 18. He was released into the custody of his mother.
