GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Part of Highway 17-A in Georgetown County is currently closed because of flooding.

The road is shut down in the area near SC-41 at the railroad crossing.

Georgetown Emergency Management Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area and plan an alternate route.
