ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCSC) - The curfew in the city of Orangeburg is no longer in effect.

Mayor Michael C. Butler signed a proclamation on Tuesday rescinding the curfew.

Since it was enacted on April 9, the curfew prohibited travel and gatherings on public property from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily.
