NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - First responders took one person injured in a North Charleston shooting to an area hospital Thursday night.

At 9:35 p.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of North Carolina Avenue where a shooting had been reported.

Officers found the victim who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was transported by EMS to MUSC Hospital for treatment.

Police have not yet released details about a motive or whether anyone has been arrested.
