Police: Woman in hospital after being hit by train

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - One person is in the hospital after a train vs. pedestrian in North Charleston Friday evening.
The incident happened at around 7:38 p.m. in the area of Dutton Ave and Sumner Ave, according to North Charleston Police.
Officers found the woman suffering from serious injuries and she was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
This is a developing story. North Charleston Police are investigating the crash.
