MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) - Mount Pleasant Police responded Tuesday afternoon to a crash involving a pedestrian.

That crash, reported shortly before 1 p.m., involved a pedestrian.

EMS took the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Inspector Don Calabrese said.

It closed the southbound side of Coleman Boulevard at Fairmont Avenue for nearly a half hour.

The accident remained under investigation.
