Coroner identifies victim in fatal Goose Creek car crash

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the Moncks Corner woman killed Saturday afternoon in a crash in Goose Creek.

Kelli Lin Arrazola, 45, died at the scene in the two-vehicle crash, according to Berkeley County Coroner George Oliver.

Goose Creek Police responded to the a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17 Alternate at Eagle Hall Lane at approximately 1:17 p.m., Capt. James Brown said.

Investigators say a white GMC Yukon was traveling toward Goose Creek when it crossed over into oncoming traffic and struck the front passenger quarter panel of a 2019 BMW. Arrazola, the front passenger of the BMW, died at the scene, Brown said.

EMS took her husband to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the driver of the Yukon and two small children in her vehicle remain hospitalized.

It is not yet clear what charges are likely to be filed.
