Police: Roads reopened after Auto-Pedestrian crash downtown

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The City of Charleston Police Department says they have reopened road after shutting down a few streets while they respond auto-pedestrian collision.

Police say a car hit a pedestrian Thursday at 6:09 a.m. in the 1100 block of Morrison Drive.

Officers say the pedestrian is in critical condition and has been transported to the Medical University of South Carolina.

Officers say Morrison Drive was closed in both directions from Brigade Street to Meeting Street, but has since been reopened.
