Police: Crash with injuries near Summerville High School

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Summerville Police Department says they are responding to a crash in Summerville.
A tweet released from the Summerville police said that the accident is in the 800 block of Boonehill Road also known as U.S. 17 Alternate.
SCDOT says there are injuries.
The road has been closed and officers ask that drivers avoid the area until the incident has been handled.
