JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) - The town of James Island extended its mask ordinance to Nov. 19.

The Thursday night vote was 4-1. The ordinance requires people to wear face masks in public places.

The no vote came from Councilwoman Cynthia Mignano. Her argument includes she believes the town should start getting back to having people hold themselves accountable for wearing their masks.
