CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control reported 918 newly-confirmed cases of COVID-19 Thursday.
DHEC said there were also 60 probable new cases, 13 confirmed deaths and two probable deaths attributed to the disease.
Three of the 13 confirmed deaths were in Lowcountry counties and were all among elderly patients.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 166,344, probable cases to 8,247, confirmed deaths to 3,645, and 244 probable deaths.
