Police: Man shot twice at Charleston strip club

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department says one person has been shot at a gentleman’s club on Upper King Street.

Officers say they first responded to 1337 King Street at around 12:36 a.m. Monday in reference to an aggravated assault.

When they arrived at the scene, King Street Cabaret, police say they made contact with a victim suffering from two gunshot wounds to the leg.

Charleston Fire and EMS both responded to the scene and police say the victim was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina with non-life-threatening injuries.

This incident is under investigation by the Charleston Police Department.
