SCDOT: Crash on I-526 closes lanes near Longpoint Rd.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Mount Pleasant Police Department says a crash is closing all but one lane on I-526 East.

Reports say the crash is after Exit 28 toward Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant, and it is backing up traffic.

Police ask drivers to take Exit 28 toward Long Point Road to avoid the area while crews clear the scene.
