Authorities identify man killed in hit-and-run in Charleston County

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has identified a man who died in a hit-and-run in Charleston County.
Authorities say 72-year-old John L. Brown from Hollywood died on Friday at 5:19 p.m. after being struck by a vehicle in the area of Cherry Hill Road and Highway 162 in Hollywood.
The sheriff’s office said the unknown vehicle and driver fled the scene.
