CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Community Resource Centers in Summerville and North Charleston say they will be holding two massive food distributions beginning Monday.

They say they’ve seen an increase in the need to feed the community.

A massive Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Giveaway will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Summerville Family YMCA.

That’s located at 208 W. Doty Ave near the Summerville Farmer’s Market.

A massive food distribution will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Resource Center in North Charleston.

That’s located at 3947 Whipper Barony Lane near RML Johnson Grocery.

Organizers say they invite all families to join and receive fresh food during their drive-thru operations.
