SC reports 3,667 new COVID-19 cases, percent-positive over 28%

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control reported 3,667 confirmed and 80 probable new cases of COVID-19 Sunday.

DHEC reported 48 new confirmed deaths and five probable deaths.

This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Carolina since the start of the pandemic to 323,855 and deaths to 5,315, according to data from the agency.

Sunday’s report included data from 12,821 test results with a percent positive of 28.6%.
