CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County School Board says they will be meeting to discuss the ongoing pandemic and new district “learning pods”.
Charleston County was one of the only districts that started the new year with students learning in the classroom. The county superintendent says they will be giving an update on COVID-19 cases within the district this afternoon.
The meeting agenda says “pertinent information” on positive coronavirus cases along with attendance information, operational decisions, elementary parent notification and personnel vaccination availability will all be discussed at Monday’s meeting.
Starting at 3:50 p.m. Monday CCSD Superintendent Gerrita Postlewait is scheduled to speak on the state of the school district.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
