Coroner releases name of man killed in moped-vehicle collision
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Coroner’s Office says they have identified a man who died after a moped versus vehicle crash.
Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal say Galdino Gonzales, 40, of Mount Pleasant died at the Medical University of South Carolina at 6:21 p.m. on Jan. 8.
O’Neal says Gonzales died from injuries sustained in a moped versus motor vehicle collision, which occurred at 5:04 p.m. on the same day.
The crash happened on Long Point Road near Wando Park Blvd and O’Neal says The Mount Pleasant Police Department is the investigating police agency.
