Mount Pleasant Police release photograph of car stolen in carjacking

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Mount Pleasant Police Department says they are investigating a carjacking that occurred Sunday that left one person in the hospital.
The incident happened at around 5 p.m. in the Whole Foods parking lot off Johnnie Dodds Boulevard.
Officers say they were originally called for a shooting, but when they arrived the found a car had been stolen instead.
The vehicle police are searching for is a Gray Volkswagen Atlas with South Carolina Plate PWF-147.
