CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Cooler than average temperatures will continue as we get ready to wrap up the weekend across the Lowcountry. Clouds will increase today as temperatures slowly climb into the low 50s by this afternoon. The sky will clear out this evening but clouds will increase again early tomorrow morning as a quick moving disturbance passes through the area. We may even see a few sprinkles by early Monday morning. As the sun rises on MLK Day, the clouds will be ready to clear back out and it should be a sunny and cool day with highs in the mid 50s. We’ll see highs near 60 on Tuesday with low to mid 60s on Wednesday and Thursday. The warm-up will come with more clouds for the second half of the new week with even a few showers possible by Thursday and Friday.
