CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Charleston Southern’s game against USC Upstate was postponed on Tuesday night after a positive COVID-19 test at the Tier 1 level in the Spartans program.

The announcement of the postponement came just minutes before the game was scheduled to tip-off as both teams had finished pregame warm ups.

The two teams were supposed to play again on Wednesday evening but that game has also been postponed as the Spartans have returned to Spartanburg.

No make up date has been set for the games.

Charleston Southern is scheduled to return to action on Sunday in Campbell.
