FIRST ALERT: Vehicle fire blocks lane on Ravenel Bridge

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) - A vehicle fire on the Arthur Ravenel Bridge has blocked one lane headed into Mount Pleasant, police say.

The vehicle fire was reported at approximately 7:30 a.m. Initially, two right lanes were closed. Shortly before 7:48 a.m., fire crews cleared the scene, but police say the far right lane remained blocked.

There was no immediate word on injuries.
