CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - To mark the start of Black History Month, the Old Slave Mart Museum says they will be opening on Sundays for the month of February.
Museum officials say they will be recounting the story of Charleston’s role in the inter-state slave trade.
They will be open each Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., but admission is limited to 25 visitors each hour. This is In accordance with social distancing protocol, and officials say everyone needs to wear a mask.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, students, teachers and those in the military, the museum says.
