Dodging rain drops and enjoying warmer temperatures!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - An unsettled weather pattern will stick around all week leading to plenty of clouds and occasional wet weather. Scattered showers will pass through the area, mainly this morning, leading to a drier afternoon. Clouds will be stubborn to depart but a few peeks of sunshine are possible this afternoon. Today will easily be the warmest day so far this month with highs in the upper 60s. We’ll trend a little cooler on Wednesday before warming back up on Thursday. If we see sunshine Thursday, temperatures will climb into the low 70s by the afternoon. A cold front will slide through on Friday cooling our temperatures for the weekend. Right now, most models show temps in the 50s for the weekend but computer models have been pretty poor past 5 days handling cooler weather. Changes to the weekend temperatures are possible between now and then. We’ll keep you updated as we get closer to our Valentine’s weekend!
