CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Police say a victim has been taken to the hospital after a shooting on Sunday.

Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis says the shooting happened in the area of Aiken Street and Columbus Street around 2:30 p.m.

The victim’s condition is not currently known.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Charleston Police Department at 843-743-7200.
