CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A cold front will bring a chance of a few showers today and then an end to the unseasonably warm weather. It will be a warm and breezy Monday morning with temperatures climbing to near 80 degrees at lunch time. Clouds will increase midday with a round of showers racing through the area. We should be mainly dry by late afternoon and into the evening with temperatures beginning to cool down. A bigger cool down will arrive overnight with temperatures in the 40s by Tuesday morning. Tuesday will be cloudy and chilly with a small chance of rain. Highs will only be in the middle 50s. Rain will increase once again Tuesday night and into Wednesday. One to two inches of rain is possible by the time the rain begins to end Wednesday afternoon. Sunshine should return on Thursday with highs in the mid 60s.
