AWENDAW, S.C. -- South Carolina had a tough day on Monday at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate as it slid down to 12th with a second round score of 296 (+8). Junior Ryan Hall and sophomore Jack Wall paced the Gamecocks with even par 72s.

Hall is T-12th at 2-under overall for the tournament. The Haskins Award Watch Lister had three birdies and was hurt only by a two hole stretch on the front nine in which he made a double bogey followed by a bogey on holes seven and eight. Wall is T-47th at 3-over. Like Hall, he was bogey free on the back nine today and made three birdies.

Super senior Jamie Wilson, who was tied for the individual lead heading into today after opening with a 68 (-4) on Sunday, shot 75 (+3) and slid down to T-17th at 1-under overall.

Fellow super senior Caleb Proveaux shot 77 (+5) and was the final counting score. Sophomore Nick Mayfield also shot 77 (+5). Freshman Rafe Reynolds shot 75 (+3) playing as an individual.

The Gamecocks will be paired with No. 32 Kansas and Marquette for the final round on Tuesday. Mayfield will lead things off on hole 10 at 8 a.m. ET.
