One dead following motorcycle accident in Beaufort County

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - One person is dead following a motorcycle accident in Beaufort County Monday afternoon.
It happened on Shiney Road near Saxonville Road eight miles south of Beaufort at 4:28 p.m.
Lance Cpl. Tyler Tidwell said a Harley Davidson motorcycle was driving east when it ran off the road and into a ditch.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital and died from their injuries.
