NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department says they are investigating a report of two individuals shooting at each other at an apartment complex in North Charleston.

Authorities say the incident happened in the 2300 block of Baker Hospital Boulevard at approximately 6:06 p.m. on Saturday.

Officers say they detained one person allegedly involved in the shooting, but that person has been released

According to officers, a second suspect, who was allegedly firing a handgun, was not located.

Officers say a quantity of drugs was located in the area and seized

The North Charleston Police Department says several vehicles were struck by gunfire, but no one was injured.

Authorities say no one has been charged at this time.
