Police respond to Summerville High School after bomb threat called in

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) - Police officers responded to Summerville High School after officials say a bomb threat was called in this afternoon.

School officials said police came to the scene and checked the perimeter of the campus in order to safely dismiss students early.

Officials with the Summerville Police Department said they searched the school and did not find anything.

Authorities say they are working to trace the source of the call.
