CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Quiet weather will be with us as we move into the middle of the week as high pressure is in full control. An easterly wind will bring a spotty shower possible on your Wednesday. Dry weather is expected for all four rounds of the PGA Championship at Kiawah Island’s Ocean Course. Temperatures will warm from the upper 70s Thursday and Friday to the low 80s for the weekend rounds. Inland areas will warm into the mid 80s on Thursday and upper 80s on Friday. A hot weekend with highs soaring into the low 90s. We will likely see our first 90 degree day at the Charleston International Airport, where records are kept.

TONIGHT: A spotty shower possible. Evening temperatures in the 70s, falling into the upper 50s to low 60s overnight.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy, a few spotty showers likely in the morning. High 81, Low 64.

THURSDAY: Sunny, warm. High 84, Low 65.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny. High 87, Low 65.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. High 90, Low 66.

SUNDAY: Sun and clouds. High 92, Low 71.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny. High 93, Low 73.
