Lowcountry pitmaster getting inducted in Barbecue Hall of Fame

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A Lowcountry pitmaster is making his way in to the Barbecue Hall of Fame!

Rodney Scott is part of the 2021 class of inductees for American Royal’s Barbecue Hall of Fame. Scott’s known for his whole-hog style barbecue which he’s been mastering since middle school.

Three people are given the honor each year. The induction ceremony is set for September at the Kansas Speedway.
