Deputies investigate shooting on James Island

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating a weekend shooting on James Island.

Deputies say they are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 900 block of Yorktown Drive on James Island.

They say an unknown subject in a passing vehicle shot a gun toward a home.

The CCSO says the residence was damaged by gunfire, however no injuries were reported.

Deputies say this is an active investigation.
