Troopers respond to fatal motorcycle crash in Berkeley Co.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person in Berkeley County died after getting into a motorcycle crash.

The SCHP says the motorcyclist was traveling west on SC 6 when they crashed four miles south of Cross near Ranger Drive.

Troopers say the crash happened at around 3:58 a.m. Sunday, and the driver of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet.

The driver was dead at the scene, the SCHP says.
